John is a Shareholder and an Executive Officer with Beesley Corporation, P.C., a public accounting firm organized in the State of Utah. John has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 2004, and is licensed in the state of Washington. He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. John is licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, and has effectively represented numerous individuals and companies under IRS audit. John has extensive experience providing tax compliance and tax planning services for high net worth individuals, limited liability companies, corporations, trusts and estates, tax exempt businesses, governmental entities, and both individuals and companies with foreign activities. John has experience with multinational income tax provisions, both as an auditor and consultant, and has helped companies analyze and disclose income tax risks in their financial statements. John has taught professional education courses to other accounting professionals on the taxation of stock options and U.S. taxation of international operations of business enterprises.

HBM is a public accounting firm and a long-time independent member of Baker Tilly International providing tax and audit services to clients worldwide. HBM is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
John was involved in reviewing and preparing complex tax returns, tax planning for both companies and high net worth individuals, staff training and recruiting, extensive client management and billing. John was a leader in developing the firm’s U.S. tax compliance practice for clients with international operations.
Travel to Asia, South-East Asia, and the South Pacific

In August 2005 John and his wife decided to travel for 5 months in Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, and the Cook Islands. John considers this to be one of the most fulfilling experiences of his life.

Clothier & Head is a public accounting firm and former independent member of Baker Tilly International. The firm is well known for its involvement in providing services to the construction, hospitality, and auto dealership industries in the Puget Sound area. The firm is also respected for providing services to law firms, manufacturers, and grocers located in the Northwest.
John was involved in preparing tax returns for trusts, estates, partnerships, corporations, and high net worth individuals. He was involved in both the firm’s litigation support and auto dealership services group. Those group services included forensic accounting and LIFO inventory calculations.
John received a Masters degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Utah in 2003. While enrolled in the Masters program John was recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate schools of business, and by the David Eccles School of Business for high scholastic achievement.
John received two undergraduate degrees, in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Utah in 2002. While enrolled in the undergraduate program John served as a teaching assistant for courses in intermediate and advanced financial accounting. He also contributed to research studies on employee internet access performed by professors in the accounting department, and was invited to participate in the Deloitte & Touché Case Competition held at Utah State University.
John currently lives in Seattle Washington with his wife Erin, son Lucius, daughter Stella, and dog Kuma . John is an Eagle Scout and is a supportive of the Boy Scouts of America. John is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is a Highland Rugby alumni and is a member of the University of Utah Alumni Association.
